Our client has an opportunity available for a Pit Supervisor based in the Northern Cape.

Requirements:

National Senior Certificate.
Must have an open pit blasting or rock breaking certificate.
Legal Liability.
5+ years' experience in an open pit mining environment.
2+ years' supervisory experience.
Must have proven experience with open pit heavy equipment fleet, open pit operations and mechanical inclined.
Previous experience with loading and hauling in an open pit mining environment.
Valid driver's license.
Must be medically fit and be able to pass a medical examination.

Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations as set out in the mine policies.
Ensure general tidiness and good housekeeping of the site and other areas of responsibility.
Execute planned production activities.
Ensure targets are achieved.
Manage dump control and loading and hauling.
