Pig Farm Manager Relocation - AustraliaExciting Australian Farm Manager opportunityCefn Pty Ltd is one of the largest family-owned pig producers in Australia which supplies high quality pork products to premium markets.Based in the Darling Downs region of Southeast Queensland, our business is continually expanding and upgrading current facilities across the five sites in the Clifton, Leyburn and Yelarbon area.We are an integrated business and utilize some of the most up to date technology and building design to provide optimal conditions for producing market leading animals. The agricultural team is made up of our teams of field staff, technical and support staff. We all work together to ensure that our supply chain from beginning to end operates within the highest standards of welfare, quality and efficiency.Your new role with CefnWe have an exciting new opportunity for a Pig Farm Manager to oversee, co-ordination and manage the daily operations of our farm situated in the Leyburn area.The key objectives of this role are to provide leadership and support to the team in the delivery of high pig health, welfare and production standards. Having a xe2x80x9chands onxe2x80x9d approach, you will support the team to meet physical, financial performance, production targets and staff management.You will be required to influence best practice and commitment to maintaining biosecurity, training and quality assurance programs. Have regular interaction with senior management and colleagues, including those from the veterinary, breeding, technical and farm compliance. This will be key in achieving the required outcomes.The successful candidate will have previous experience in Pig Farming leadership with the ability to influence change and collaborate to achieve operational requirements.
