The Role:

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker to join our dynamic team in Goodwood. In this hands-on role, you will be crucial to our operations, ensuring that branch transfer request and customer orders are accurately picked, prepared, and moved for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately pick orders from the storage area using requisitions and order sheets. Verify that all items and quantities selected are correct before moving to the holding area for scanning. Perform cross-docking procedures and put away stock to the storage area. Receive, verify, and pack incoming stock. Relocate and re-stack goods to optimize storage space. Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently. Record any damaged goods or shortages and report them. Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments. Keep work areas clean, neat, and well-organized at all times. Assist with wrapping and securing pallets using stretch/shrink wrap. Print and attach bin locator labels as needed. Relocate bin locator labels precisely as needed. Strictly comply with all OSHA and company safety regulations. Assist in maintaining overall warehouse security.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Experience):

Experience:

1+ years in a similar warehouse picking or operative role.

Education:

High School Matric or a suitable equivalent.

Licenses:

Ability to operate an Order Picker Cart (must not have acrophobia - fear of heights).

Skills:

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal communication skills. Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.

Attributes:

A high degree of integrity and reliability. Ability to work both unsupervised and harmoniously within a diverse team. Ability to work effectively under pressure.

Work Environment & Flexibility:

This is an on-site, in-person role based in our Goodwood warehouse. Must be able to work shifts and outside normal hours when required. Must be able to work effectively without constant supervision.
