The Opportunity
We are seeking a driven and experienced Medical Recruiter to join our client's remote talent acquisition team. This is a crucial role responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment of various clinical positions, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation. You will be a strategic partner to hiring managers, building robust talent pipelines and ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every candidate.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, a passion for connecting people with meaningful opportunities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for clinical roles, including nurses (RNs, LPNs), physicians, allied health professionals, and other healthcare specialists.
Sourcing & Talent Pipelining: Proactively source active and passive candidates using a variety of channels, including medical job boards, professional networks (like Doximity), social media, and direct outreach.
Screening & Qualification: Conduct thorough screening interviews to assess candidates' clinical skills, credentials, experience, and cultural fit.
Candidate Management: Guide candidates through the interview process, providing clear communication, timely updates, and a positive experience from application to hire.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their specific staffing needs, define role requirements, and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Credential Verification: Assist in the initial verification of licenses, certifications, and other required credentials to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Reporting & Data Integrity: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
What You Bring
Experience: 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, with a significant portion focused specifically on healthcare or medical roles.
Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of clinical roles, medical terminology, and the unique challenges of healthcare staffing.
Sourcing Expertise: Demonstrated ability to source and engage with hard-to-find clinical talent.
Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with medical professionals.
Organizational Prowess: Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority roles simultaneously.
Remote Work Ready: A self-starter with the discipline and technical setup to excel in a fully remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience recruiting for a variety of clinical specialties (e.g., ICU, OR, Emergency, etc.).
Familiarity with healthcare compliance and credentialing processes (e.g., HIPAA, JCAHO).
Proficiency with healthcare-specific sourcing tools or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
