Our client is a global technology organisation focused on building secure, scalable platforms that support data-driven decision-making. They're looking for a PHP Developer to join their engineering team. You'll work on backend services and APIs that power enterprise-grade applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using PHP (Laravel or similar)
- Optimize application performance and database queries
- Collaborate with frontend developers for seamless integration
- Integrate third-party APIs and external data sources
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team learning
- Support deployment pipelines and troubleshoot across environments
- 3+ years of PHP development experience
- Strong understanding of OOP and MVC architecture
- Experience with Laravel or similar frameworks
- Proficient in MySQL (schema design, migrations, query optimization)
- Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, JSON/XML
- Exposure to Redis, RabbitMQ, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
- Basic understanding of frontend tech (Vue.js or React)
- Experience with secure data or financial APIs is a plus
- Fibre-ready home setup required (min. 100 Mbps)
