Job Summary Vacancy: Photography Lecturer Province: North West City: Potchefstroom Own Transport Required: Yes Type: Permanent REQUIREMENTS: o Diploma/Degree in Photography (minimum qualification - NQF 6) o Industry related experience (minimum two years) o Assessors and or Moderators advantageous o Bilingual - Afrikaans and English o In depth working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro o Videography/Cinematography experience is advantageous. o Display strong conceptual skills and abilities o Proficient in studio lighting and techniques DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: o High quality teaching in subject field and related topics o Assess, record, and analyse the achievement of students o Facilitate students' learning and encourage active learning o Curriculum development o Student Supervision and Support o Administration o Quality Assurance o Occasional delivery of short courses after hours PERSONAL SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES: o Good interpersonal skills o Good administrative and time management skills o Must have good people skills o Able to work under pressure o Crisis management
