Job Description

SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and experienced Pharmacy Manager at a leading private hospital located in the southern suburbs of Cape Town.
POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Overseeing the daily operations of the hospital pharmacy and entities
Ensure customer-focused pharmacy service
Lead and manage a multidisciplinary pharmacy team
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements
Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain optimal stock levels and cost-effective procurement
Minimum requirements:
BPharm degree and registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a hospital pharmacy environment, preferably in an acute care setting
Good computer skills in MS Office and software
Proven leadership and people management experience
Strong operational, administrative, and financial management skills
Advanced communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to manage and develop a large, high-performing pharmacy team
