Job Description
Purpose of the Job
Medirite makes use of Pharmacist Locums to take responsibility for Pharmacies in selected Shoprite, Checkers & Checkers Hyper Stores in the Western Cape. As Pharmacist Locum you will be required to amongst other: 1) Take responsibility as the On duty Pharmacist and ensure compliance with all Good Pharmacy Practice requirements; 2) Ensuring ethical compliance with statutory legislation; 3) Patient counselling; 4) Drug interventions; 5) Overseeing the daily running of the store; 6) Supervising staff; 7) Being able to work on Unisolve; and 8) Cash and Banking.

Qualifications
BPharm or equivalent Pharmaceutical Degree Registration as a Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council Proof of Professional Indemnity Insurance
Experience
Experience in a retail pharmacy will be preferential
Knowledge and Skills
o Dispensing knowledge o Knowledge of dispensing systems and ordering systems
