Purpose of the Job

To accurately and timeously supply medication, according to valid prescriptions from doctors, residents and clients of the Chevrah Kadisha.
Role and Responsibilities

Evaluate prescriptions Dispense/compound/supply medication to units/residents/clients Check/supervise prescriptions dispensed/compounded by pharmacist assistants Liaise with doctors and other medical personnel regarding medication requirements Co-ordinate state supplied medication with privately supplied medication Medical aid claiming and billing of medication Stock receiving Stock Control Administration/filing Record keeping and statistics
Qualifications and Education Requirements

BPharm Degree Registration with South African Pharmacy Council Computer literacy - Propharm and Excel experience advantageous Community and/or Hospital Pharmacy experience
