An industry leader in the pharmacy sector, is recruiting for an experienced and skilled pharmacist assistant
Experience
- The successful incumbent must possess at least two (2) yearsxe2x80x99 experience as a pharmacy assistant
Formal qualifications
- Matric
- Further Education and Training Certificate Pharmacist Assistance
- Valid driverxe2x80x99s licence
- Own reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel
Responsibilities
- Interact with customers telephonically or other means regarding medication and Healthcare Services
- Accurate capturing of scripts received
- Handling of queries regarding prescriptions
- Patient Profile management
- Assist with Chronic authorizations
- Ad hoc requirements as per operational requirements
- Product knowledge (including over the counter medication)
- Customer service orientated
- Ethical working practice and compliance
- Must be bilingual
- Must be able to work with patients and be adaptable to assist with various departmental duties
- Be able to use initiative in order to provide patient satisfaction
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Reliable and dependable
- Attention to accuracy and detail
- Analytical and logical
- Ethical and trustworthy
- Accurate reporting
Shortlisted candidates will be expected to undergo psychometric testing and background screening, including criminal reference checks and ITC checks.
