Purpose of the Job

To accurately and timeously compound and dispense medication, according to valid prescriptions from Doctors, to residents and clients of the Chevra Kadisha.
Role and Responsibilities
-----------------------------
- Assess prescriptions
Dispense/compound/supply medication into containers/blister packs upon instruction from Pharmacists
Distribution of medication collected by relevant units/departments
Liaison with State Clinics regarding stock supply
Stock receiving
Stock Control
Correct Disposal of expired/obsolete medication
Administration/Filing
Record Keeping
Qualifications and Education Requirements

Grade 12
Post Basic Qualified Pharmacist Assistant Certificate
Registration with South African Pharmacy Council
Computer Literacy
