Pharmaceutical Sales Representative/key Accounts Durban

Job Description

Client is seeking a Sales Representative with a minimum of 5 years experience in Retail markets, medical/pharmaceutical experience an advantage.
Duties revolve around driving revenue by selling products or services to customers. This involves a range of activities, including generating leads, building relationships, presenting products, negotiating deals, and providing customer support. They also play a crucial role in understanding customer needs, tailoring solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Qualification:

  • Identifying and qualifying potential customers through various channels, such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
Building and Maintaining Relationships:
  • Developing strong relationships with both new and existing clients to understand their needs and foster long-term partnerships.
Negotiation and Closing Deals:
  • Negotiating prices, terms, and contracts with clients to finalize sales and achieve revenue targets.
Customer Support and Service:
  • Addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis:
  • Tracking sales performance, analyzing market trends, and reporting on key metrics to management.
Staying Updated:
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge to maintain a competitive edge.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
  • Working closely with other departments, such as marketing and product management, to ensure a seamless sales process.
  • Use CRM software to manage leads, track sales progress, and maintain client records.
Minimum requirements: * Matric
  • 4 - 6 years experience in dealing with retail stores, pharmacies, etc - selling in products
  • Cold calling
  • Strong communication, sales, and interpersonal skills are also crucial.
  • Experience in sales, especially in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry, is advantageous
  • CRM - advantageous
