Role Purpose
The CPD Sales & Sponsorship Consultant will be responsible for securing corporate sponsorships from pharmaceutical and healthcare companies to support our CPD programs. This role requires a balance of strategic sales skills, healthcare industry knowledge, and relationship-building abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, prospect, and engage pharmaceutical companies whose therapeutic portfolios align with our CPD topics (e.g., diabetes, oncology, CNS, respiratory, dermatology).
Present sponsorship proposals and tailor pitches to highlight ROI, brand visibility, and CSR value.
Negotiate sponsorship agreements (average R85,000 per module) and manage end-to-end sales cycle.
Maintain accurate records of leads, pipelines, and conversions.
Provide feedback on the sponsor's needs to shape future CPD topics.
Key Requirements
Proven sales experience (healthcare, pharmaceutical)
Strong understanding of the South African pharmaceutical landscape.
Ability to confidently communicate with marketing, product, brand managers, and other corporate executives.
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, target-driven, with the ability to work independently.
Tertiary qualification in business, marketing, or health sciences (advantageous).
