how we approach adding value within the company.What will you do?MiWay is seeking a highly organised, proactive, and professional Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to our CFO and Head of Governance in a fast-paced, dynamic, and innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the financial services or insurance sector and demonstrate a strong understanding of financial systems and processes. This role requires exceptional discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.Deliverables include, but will not be limited to

  • Manage the CFO & Head: Governance's calendar, travel arrangements, and correspondence
  • Provide executive support including meeting preparation and document management
  • Process invoices, raise purchase orders, and manage proof of payments
  • Oversee company credit cards, fleet cards, and Business Uber account
  • Provide administrative support to the Head of Governance and the Governance team
  • Coordinate and prepare for committee meetings (e.g. Investment, Transformation)
  • Take accurate minutes and track follow-up actions
  • Maintain records and filing systems in line with compliance standards
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders professionally
  • Support departmental projects, audits, and internal events
  • Manage office supplies and assist with general admin for the department
Minimum Qualification Required
  • Grade 12/Standard 10/NQF 4
  • A diploma or certificate in Business Administration or similar qualification is advanatgeous
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Personal Assistant, preferably within financial services or insurance.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with financial systems and processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Discretion, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Competencies Required
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
