WTA Pty Ltd, a well-established DMC with over 18 years of experience in South Africa, is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Personal Assistant and Procurement/Product Design Manager. In this unique role, you will play a pivotal part in providing essential administrative support while also overseeing procurement and product design related to our tours and experiences. This position requires a candidate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the tourism industry, as well as flexibility towards changes, resilience towards challenges, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle emergencies. Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and document management, to ensure the smooth operation of our tours. Act as a personal assistant to our company leadership, assisting in maintaining high standards of customer service. Take charge of procurement activities related to our tours, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing inventory. Utilize your negotiation skills to secure favorable agreements with service providers, such as hotels, vehicle rental companies, and other partners. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with service providers, tour guides, and other industry professionals. Oversee and contribute to the product design process for our tour packages and experiences. Demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and a strong work ethic to adapt to changes, overcome challenges, and handle emergencies effectively. Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry. Previous experience in administrative roles and personal assistance. Strong organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail. Proven experience in negotiating with service providers, particularly within the tourism industry. Outstanding social and interpersonal skills to connect with and maintain relationships with industry partners. Familiarity with procurement and supply chain management is advantageous.
