Are you a data-driven marketer who gets excited about turning clicks into customers? Syntech is seeking a motivated and meticulous Performance Marketing Specialist to own our paid advertising strategy across a diverse range of platforms.



As a Performance Marketing Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving customer acquisition and revenue growth. You will weave together data insights, strategic planning, & creative testing to optimise CPM, CPC, CPO, & other costs while maximising ROI. You'll deploy campaigns across an omnichannel landscape that includes paid socials, Google ads, B2B/B2C, ecommerce, & retail media across several core markets.



The role requires a balance of planning, iterative testing, diligent execution, partner management, data analysis, & reporting. You will work closely with the Marketing Campaign Manager & the rest of the marketing department. You will also work closely with the Retail Sales teams as well as our customers.



Your work will directly shape the success of Syntech's marketing efforts, helping to achieve strategic objectives while delivering measurable results. Minimum Requirements



Requirements


A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a paid media, performance marketing, or similar role. An undergraduate degree in marketing or a related field is preferred, but we welcome applicants with relevant certifications or equivalent professional experience. We recognise that there are diverse paths to expertise.
Skills


Experience managing campaigns across a variety of channels (Google ads, social media, & ideally retail media). Proven ability to drive ROI through data-driven insights and strong analytical skills. Expertise in managing multiple campaigns simultaneously, balancing stakeholders, deadlines, and budgets. Excellent communication skills and a talent for cross-functional collaboration. Familiarity with modern analytics, campaign management, & work management tools.
Personality traits


Results-oriented, highly organised, & a natural problem-solver. A proactive mindset, able to adjust strategies quickly based on performance data. Duties and Responsibilities



Advertising campaign planning, execution, & management


Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and management of paid advertising campaigns across all channels, including retail media, Google ads, paid social, and our ecommerce platforms. Collaborate with management to ensure campaign strategies align with broader business objectives and brand positioning. Develop customer-centric strategies that meet consumers where they are, using search, social, behavioural, and brand signals to inform your approach. Craft compelling advertising copy, visuals, and video assets that resonate deeply with our target audience, using creative storytelling to command attention. Deploy creative, narrative storytelling techniques to command audience attention. Deploy, develop, or curate marketing assets for paid media within budget.
Data-driven analysis & performance optimisation


Track, measure, & optimise campaigns in real-time, using analytics to provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Prepare & present regular performance reports, clearly communicating key metrics, learnings, & areas for improvement. Utilise A/B testing, customer segmentation, & user journey analysis to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and drive efficiency. Conduct post-campaign analysis (POE & performance reports) to assess overall impact, applying key learnings to future initiatives.
Cross-functional collaboration & stakeholder management


Work proactively with the retail sales teams to drive reseller advertising campaigns with our key accounts. Collaborate closely with internal marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure campaigns are implemented effectively with clear communication and alignment. Regularly update stakeholders on campaign progress, challenges, and results, ensuring transparency and managing expectations. Manage relevant 3rd party suppliers, ensuring effective integration into ongoing advertising campaigns.
Innovation


Stay up-to-date on innovative disruptions in the tech and marketing industries (e.g., AI-driven search, new ad platforms) and champion their adoption within the marketing department. * Continuously seek out and motivate for new opportunities for professional growth and development.
