The Role: Performance Marketer
Oceans is seeking talented candidates in South Africa to become Performance Marketers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage performance marketing strategy
• Conduct competitor research, platform determination, messaging, and audience identification
• Plan, create, and publish new content that builds meaningful customer connections, increases brand awareness, and encourages engagement
• Develop and proactively manage content calendars
• Lead on conversion rate optimization
• Track metrics across all channels to generate actionable insights
• Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and keep up to date on social media platform changes

Requirements

• Language: Professional fluency in English, with superb communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)
• Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in media buying
• Proven track record of managing and scaling digital ad campaigns of USD 100k/month at minimum
• Essential Skills:

• Highly proficient across Meta, TikTok, and Google
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Education: Undergraduate degree preferred; relevant experience accepted; other certifications a bonus
