Job Summary A leading Mining Services organisation is looking to appoint a skilled Payroll Specialist with solid end-to-end payroll expertise and familiarity with core HR administrative tasks. This is a fully onsite position based in Germiston, working closely with the Finance Department and a Payroll Clerk responsible for timekeeping. The role manages payroll for roughly 150-200 employees and provides additional HR support where required.
Responsibilities
Full end-to-end payroll processing on Sage
Monthly payroll calculations and statutory submissions
Printing and distributing payslips
Managing leave, benefits, and UIF processes
Ensuring payroll compliance and accurate employee data management
Assisting with HR administration and documentation
Supporting employee onboarding and maintaining personnel records
Providing HR-related guidance when required
Attending company hearings when necessary
Requirements
3-5+ years payroll experience (Sage experience required)
Proven experience managing payroll for 150-200 employees
Payroll Certificate or BCom Degree in HR (essential)
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Willing and able to work onsite full-time
