Our client in the Insurance industry is currently looking for a Payroll Officer, in Pinetown.
Responsibilities:
Sage People 300: Efficiently manage and streamline payroll processes.
IRP5 Reconciliation: Skillfully reconcile IRP5's using the SARS E@syfile system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Tax and Annual Returns: Manage tax-related activities and oversee the preparation and submission of annual returns, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
Monthly Submissions: Handle monthly payroll submissions accurately and within established timelines.
Leave Administration: Oversee leave administration for all staff, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with company policies.
General Ledger Analysis: Apply strong analytical capabilities in general ledger analysis related to payroll costs, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar role with a strong track record of efficiency and goal-driven performance.
Proficient in using Sage People 300 for payroll management.
In-depth knowledge of the SARS E@syfile system for IRP5 reconciliation.
Familiarity with tax regulations and experience in handling annual returns.
Ability to manage high-pressure situations with assertiveness, confidence, and maturity.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in general ledger analysis related to payroll functions.
Have extensive experience and expertise in Sage People 300 and be well-versed in various aspects of payroll management.
