Job Description


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Manager, ideally within the logistics or similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of South African payroll regulations and requirements.
  • Experience with payroll software and systems, with a high proficiency in Excel.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Key responsibilities:
  • Oversee the processing of the monthly payroll for employees across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory law and financial regulations related to payroll operations.
  • Implement and maintain payroll best practices to improve efficiency.
  • Manage and resolve any payroll discrepancies or queries from employees.
  • Lead, mentor, and expand the payroll team to support business growth.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure coordination and compliance.
  • Provide regular payroll reports to management for review.
  • Stay updated on new tax laws and compliance requirements.
