Payroll Clerk

The Payroll Clerk is responsible for the administration of the company's payroll systems. The payroll Clerk is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of payroll and related client service, including record keeping and reporting. This position provides accounting and project management support to the Finance and HR Departments.
Duties & Responsibilities
First point of contact for employees relating to payroll queries Process payroll and update payroll information as required Calculation and processing of weekly wages Exporting and updating weekly wages reports Approving leave applications and reconciling leave on Sage Assisting with UI19 forms Date entry for all time, attendance and personnel transactions such as new hires, terminations, leave of absence, benefit deductions, garnishments, loans, staff account deductions, etc. Taxes and UIF deductions, including year-end reconciliations Gross to net calculation, audit and balancing Prepare and maintain related payroll records and reports Assist with document workflow and work procedures Assist with the processing of medical aid and Provident fund application forms Assist with any ad hoc duties in the Finance/HR departments based on operational requirements
Desired Experience & Qualification
Degree/Diploma in HR or Finance
Sage 300
Experience will be advantageous Knowledge of Excel Analysing information Data entry skills Attention to detail Confidentiality abilities Meticulous Good verbal communicationJob Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: R55,00 - R80,00 per hour
