Armed with a degree or diploma in Human Resources and at least three years of HR experience (with a payroll twist), you're the detail-oriented dynamo who ensures every paycheck is perfect and every benefit is blissful. You'll need to be the HR hero who crafts employment docs with finesse and keeps everyone in the loop with HR updates and antics. With a knack for quirky problem-solving, you're the secret weapon for a happier, funkier workplace.Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and Administer end-to-end Payroll Function.
  • Manage employee benefits (medical aid, gap cover, and pension fund).
  • Update and maintain medical aid and pension fund on respective employer portals.
  • Liaise with employee benefit service providers.
  • Generate payroll reports.
  • Monthly reconciliation of third-party billing and deductions.
  • Resolve management and staff queries related to payroll and benefits.
  • Continuously update and maintain HRMIS system and payroll information.
  • Liaise with managers to ensure accuracy of payroll information.
  • Ensure that employment terminations are captured, leave audits conducted, and relevant exit payments processed.
  • Communicate leave reports to all managers and highlight anomalies for correction.
  • Draft employment documentation (offer letters, increase letters, promotion letters, contracts of employment).
  • Conduct exit interviews and issue UIF documents and Service Certificates.
  • Engage employees on HR and company matters through an HR portal and notice boards.
  • Update and maintain HR process and employee records (training, disciplinary, performance, incapacity etc.).
  • Record minutes for HR processes.
  • Contribute to employee engagement and health and wellness by participating in special days, events, and functions.
  • Update HR documents and communicate reviewed templates, procedures, and policies to management and employees.
  • Deliver on ad-hoc HR Administration as directed by the HR Manager.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-year Human Resources Degree or Diploma
  • 3 years' HR-focused experience of which at least 1 has been in payroll
  • Demonstrated hands-on payroll experience
  • PaySpace experience (Advantageous)
  • Detail-oriented and ability to work independently
  • Excellent problem-solving skills / ability to identify anomalies within a system or process
  • Must be able to take initiative and be a self-starter
  • Exceptional people skills with an ability to interact professionally with people on all levels within the company
  • You must be available from June - December 2024
