Job Description


  • Processing payroll (Manual/system-based)
  • Distributing payslips on a monthly basis;
  • Posting payroll to the general ledger;
  • Reconciliations of employees accounts monthly;
  • Resolving issues employees have on payslips and other payroll matters;
  • SARS year-end and mid-year reconciliations and printing of IRP5;
  • Remuneration and benefits administration with the prescripts of the Policies, Statutory
  • Legislation, Taxation and relevant Acts;
  • Ensure all statutory payments are processed at stipulated time lines (i.e UIF and BCCEI declarations)
  • Must have basic knowledge of Human Resources and background;
  • Must have knowledge and competency in SAGE Business Cloud Payroll
  • Professional and Microsoft Office;
  • Must have accounting Technical Skills
  • Must have strong interpersonal, communication, time management skills and be disciplined;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and willingness to learn;
  • Possess work ethic and etiquette;
  • Uphold professionalism at all times and
  • Must be willing to learn and familiarize with the Companys financial and HR policy manuals.
  • Must prepare monthly and quarterly reports to Senior Management.
  • Relevant Payroll qualification;
  • Degree/ Diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualification;
  • 3 years minimum payroll experience and proficiency with the SAGE PAYROLL SYSTEM
