Essence of the job:
The Payroll Administrator ensures the accurate and timely processing of employee remuneration. This includes managing payroll records, calculating work hours and deductions, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Qualification:
Grade 12 (Matric) & relevant qualification in HR or associated with payroll.
Certified payroll professional designation preferred.
Minimum Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in payroll administration.
Proven experience managing payroll for 150+ employees.
Excellent financial analytical skills with ability to interpret and present financial data.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong skills in using and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated payroll accounting system.
Thorough understanding of employment legislation and tax regulations.
Proficient in PaySpace payroll software, MS Excel and Word.
Experience with time and attendance systems (Kronos, ERS Bio, S-Cubed).
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Clear and confident communication skill.
