Job Title: Paving Foreman

Location: Verulam

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a suitable and qualified candidate for the role of Patching Foreman in the construction Industry

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision & Leadership:

Direct, train, and motivate paving team (asphalt). Assign tasks, manage daily work schedules, and optimize labor/equipment use. Ensure team represents the company well and maintains positive customer relations.

Operations Management:

Oversee daily site operations, including paving, patching, and finishing. Read plans/specs, verify measurements (slope, thickness, etc.) for compliance. Coordinate materials, equipment, trucking, and subcontractors. Troubleshoot issues (materials, equipment, site conditions).

Safety & Quality Control:

Enforce strict safety protocols and company policies. Conduct site inspections for quality, standards, and regulations. Ensure final product meets project specifications and quality.

Reporting & Communication:

Liaise with, engineers, clients, and other departments. Complete daily reports, time sheets, cost coding, and accident/incident reports. Prepare "look ahead" schedules and material orders.
Key Skills & Attributes:

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Deep understanding of paving methods, equipment, and materials. Problem-solving, math, and basic computer skills. Physical stamina and ability to work in varied conditions.
