PATTERN MAKER CMT

A well-established Company based in Ladysmith that manufacturers PPE is looking for a Pattern Maker for their Durban based Operation
Reporting to - Production Manager
Department - Patterns
Job Responsibilities
Daily
- Making Patterns on New Developments.
- Adjusting old patterns according to specs provided in the system.
- Printing of model form that indicates all pattern pieces are listed according to style of garments (CAD).
- Graded size charts are created according to the pattern (measurement chart).
- Check all cutsheets against mini markers, ratios, shrinkages, and correct pattern is used according to CAD for production.
- Manual markers are made, graded sizes for pockets, flaps, tape, position markers and embroidery.
- Ensure that all ratings are done on time (need to balance production and ratings).
- Handling all queries related to patterns and markers in production.
- Work closely with the Quality department to ensure that any problems that arise are rectified e.g.: measurement.
- Handle all problems that arise with computers and printers.
- Keep a proper filing system including patterns for easy reference.
- Provide training to Understudy
- Place orders for consumables.
- Contact Pinter Service Provider for updates.
