Pastry chef / Kitchen coordinator overall responsibilities include the following;
Prepare daily cakes, cookies, pastries and sandwiches following the brands recipes.
Develop new recipes as per seasonal changes.
Monitor stock, ordering of food items and control food costs.
Clean and maintain kitchen on daily basis, including maintenance of all working material.
Identify staff needs, and oversee junior members and help train and recruit as needs require.
Be clean and presentable and always adhere to health and safety standards.
Adhering to a good team spirit and always going the extra mile to maintain the brands standards and service the customers both back of house and also assisting with front of house responsibilities.
