Remuneration: R10 000 - R30 000 negotiable, dependent on skill set, knowledge, and experience + commission + possibility of qualifying for a company car + fuel allowance
Purpose Of The Job:
Our clients are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Front Counter / Panel Salesperson to join their Parts Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling both retail (walk-in) sales and trade/panel shop accounts, ensuring excellent service delivery, accurate order processing, and consistent achievement of sales targets.
Responsibilities:

• Assist retail and trade customers at the front counter
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with panel shops and trade customers
• Manage quotations, process orders, and conduct timely follow-ups
• Ensure accurate sales transactions and support the wider Parts Department team
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the trade and retail segments

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in same or similar role in an automotive dealership as a front counter / internal parts salesman
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts (German brands advantageous)
• Proven track record in parts sales and customer service
• Existing client base
• Experience in managing both front counter (retail) customers and panel shop/trade clients
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Target-driven, results-oriented, and able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
