A consulting firm, specialising in coaching, assessment and leadership development is seeking a proactive and well-organised, part-time, on-site Office Manager to support the day-to-day operations at their office 2 days a week for 3 -4 hours, in Linden, Johannesburg. They require a dependable presence on-site to ensure the office remains welcoming, efficient, and professionally managed.
This role is essential to maintaining the smooth functioning of their physical office space, supporting staff and tenants, and providing a high-quality experience for visiting clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Experience: Professionally greet and assist clients who come for in-person meetings, ensuring they have a positive experience from the moment they arrive.
Staff Supervision: Manage the cleaning staff, ensuring a consistently tidy and presentable office space.
Inventory Management: Oversee and order office supplies and stationery, making sure we're always well-stocked.
Building Maintenance: Co-ordinate and manage all building maintenance needs, working with external vendors as required.
Tenant Relations: Act as the primary contact for tenant inquiries and ensure their needs are addressed promptly and professionally.
Catering Co-ordination: Arrange and manage catering for meetings and workshops, including ordering, setup, and cleanup, ensuring dietary needs are accommodated.
Workshop Support: Assist with the co-ordination and setup of workshops run at the office, ensuring all necessary resources are available.
Adhoc Secretarial Support: Provide secretarial duties for the executive team on an as-needed basis, including scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation.
