, since April 2019 we are part of The Independent Institution of Education (The IIE), a leader in the higher education sphere. The IIE is internationally recognised by the British Accreditation Council. IIE MSA, located on a 100-hectare campus in Ruimsig, Johannesburg, in the province of Gauteng. In addition to domestic (South African) students, IIE MSA is home to a diverse of cultures of students from 50 African countries.

The IIE MSA, Ruimsig Campus has a vacancy for a Part-time Lecturer (Foundation Phase)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Presenting content in a classroom environment (contact sessions). Arranging for consultations with students. Results analysis at a modular level. Marking assessments and providing constructive feedback Employing interventions for at-risk students Integrating and promoting the effective use of technology in teaching and learning to enhance student engagement and academic outcomes. Engaging in professional development and contributing to departmental and institutional initiatives.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

A minimum of a B.Ed. Honour's degre OR Postgraduate Diploma in Education (at NQF level 8 And: The undergraduate qualification or postgraduate qualification must include a focus on Foundation Phase and/or Early Childhood Teaching.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years school teaching experience in the Foundation Phase required. Tertiary Lecturing Experience (Ideal). Teaching experience does not include experience gained during Teaching practice / Work Integrated Learning / Intern work or being a Teaching assistant.
