Part Time Fitter/turner
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled fitter and turner who has experience working in a manufacturing environment. We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious professional to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble, fit, and maintain mechanical components and machinery
Interpret technical drawings and specifications
Operate lathes, milling machines, and other precision tools for fabrication and repairs
Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical faults
Ensure efficient operation of all equipment and contribute to smooth production processes
Requirements
Proven experience as a fitter and turner in a manufacturing setting
Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
Ability to work from technical drawings
Commitment to workplace safety standards
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 24.75 per week
Work Location: In person
