Job Description

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification.
• 5 years' experience in parts sales, preferably in the construction or mining sector.
• Good product knowledge of spare parts and accessories.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and inventory management systems.
• Strong customer service orientation and sales ability.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
• A valid driver's license.
• Forklift license will be advantageous.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct parts for their needs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product inventory and pricing.
• Process sales orders and handle customer queries and inquiries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retail and trade customers.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely dispatch of parts.
• Advise customers on part compatibility, installation, and alternatives.
• Track back orders and communicate expected delivery timelines to customers.
• Ensure displays and product areas are well-organized and properly stocked.
• Generate sales reports and assist with stock taking and inventory control.
• Stay informed on new product lines and technical developments.
