Lead the Quality team, allocating work as required to ensure Quality standards are met.
Ensure packaging quality standards are adhered and comply to the packaging matrix
Ensure quality standards are maintained across the warehouse
Accurately record and maintain test samples and results
Assist in inspecting product returns to validate customer complaint claims
Analyze technical issues related to parts, conducting root cause analysis, determine reasons, corrective actions and following the NCR processes.
Parts repairs and maintenance planning
Conduct in-house reworks and Reman functions at the GLC to reduce outsourcing costs.
Conduct parts, demonstrations and training for the warehouse teams
Support knowledge transfer through training, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing
Strategic stock quality evaluations per the schedule
Ensure accurate recordkeeping
Prepare and submit accurate reports, in the agreed format, on time
Ensure compliance with standard operating policies and procedures (including quality controls)
Communicate competently, verbally and in writing, in official business language - English
Ensure full compliance with relevant Health & Safety legislation and company policy & procedures
Wear required PPE in designated areas
Immediately report any non-compliance via the Risk and Safety Officers
REQUIREMENTS:
Trade test Qualified Earthmoving Diesel Mechanic
Min 3 years' experience within a heavy equipment environment
Technical aptitude
Product knowledge
Computer literate in Microsoft office (Intermediate Excel), SAP, including ERP systems
