Develop and implement strategies for parts sales, procurement, and inventory management.
Forecast demand and manage stock levels to meet customer needs.
Regular review of purchase price associated to OE and/or local suppliers
Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.
Plan, manage and monitor the implementation of governance, compliance, integrity, and ethics.
Implement processes to identify, manage risks and expose liabilities.
Source, manage, identify and address customer needs by providing a variety of related parts, products and accessories, to enhance satisfaction and retention.
Lead and train parts department staff to achieve departmental goals.
Managing the receiving, shipping, handling, distribution, and storage of all freight, products, and local/international supplies that come in and out of the warehouses.
Communicating all delays or variances in inbound/outbound freight to the appropriate parties (internal and external)
Planning warehouse layout and space requirements to prevent loss or damage, and to achieve full warehouse optimization.
Considering full implications of freight turnover, size, weight, and other factors when allocating warehouse space.
Enforcing company policies regarding security and safety to maintain a safe working environment.
Investigating causes of lost or damaged shipments and other matters, adjusting where necessary.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Parts Manager in the lifting truck or related industry.
Strong understanding of parts inventory management and supply chain processes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
