Komatsu is looking for an experienced Parts Interpreter in the construction/mining industry, that can assist with the warehouse function. The preferred candidate should have a minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience in Supply Chain & Logistics and 1 year of supervisory experience and have strong interpersonal communication ability.
Qualification
- Diploma/Degree in Supply chain & Logistics.
- 2-4 years of parts experience.
- 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- SAP experience will be an added advantage
- Executes parts sales.
- Provides advice to the customer.
- Reports customer issues/problems.
- Executes the parts ordering process.
- Administrates the introduction of new parts into the system.
- Follows up on emergency and backorders.
- Generates Parts Inventory Availability Reports.
- Generates backorder report.
- Executes Parts Returns from the customer.
- Prints credit note reports for review by management.
- Plans stock counts in conjunction with management.
- Executes and participates in stock counts.
- Prints stock reports on variances and write-offs/write-ups for review by management.
- Executes general office administration.
