Emeris Westville Campus has a vacancy for a Part time Lecturer within the School of Computer Science in the following module for the 2026 Academic year:

UIDU8412 - User Interface Design and Usability

Key Performance Areas :

Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills Excellent Presentation Skills Assertiveness and dynamism Understanding of customer service in education Demonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactively.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Masters in IT. Alternatively, an NQF 9 qualification that includes IT topics.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

Lecturing experience in databases and/or programming. Work experience as a Software Developer/Application Developer or Mobile Programmer.

Working Conditions:

Please note that this is a Part-time role with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00. Preference will be given to South African Citizens and Permanent Residents of South Africa in possession of proof of permanent resident status.
