Emeris Westville Campus has a vacancy for a Part time Lecturer within the School of Computer Science in the following module for the 2026 Academic year:

IRIT7311 - Introduction to Research for ICT

Competencies required:

Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills Excellent Presentation Skills Assertiveness and dynamism Understanding of customer service in education Demonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactively.

Minimum Education Requirements:

Ideally, a Master's degree that includes a component in research methodology. Alternatively, an Honours degree that includes a subject in research methodology and demonstrates exposure to a range of research methods.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

Lecturing experience in research related to ICT.

Working Conditions:

Please note that this is a Part-time role with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00. Preference will be given to South African Citizens and Permanent Residents of South Africa in possession of proof of permanent resident status.
