Job Description
Job Summary Ladybrand, Free State Responsible for assessing and repairing damage to vehicle bodywork by utilising metalwork techniques to fix panels, mend rusted areas, and remove dents. Further responsibilities shall include replacing damaged panels, straightening frames, and preparing surfaces for painting. Job Specifications o Relevant qualification including a Trade Test Certificate. o Proficient in cutting, welding, using hand tools, and machinery. o Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to manipulate tools and equipment. o Ability to diagnose and repair damage, including the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues. o Meticulous and accurate in workmanship, ensuring high-quality repairs. o Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, and work in noisy environments. o Familiarity with vehicle structures, repair techniques, and safety regulations. o Good communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. o Previous experience as a panel beater mandatory o Valid Driver's License o Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and health protocols.
