With a focus on Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ), they are dedicated to helping their clients achieve their goals of maximum production uptime, zero harm, and operational efficiency.ProjectA commissioning crew for an FNLG vessel working offshore Western Africa (Starting in Dubai) .Job Summary:The Painter Foreman will supervise the Painters and oversee all painting and surface preparation activities on the FLNG vessel. They will work closely with other commissioning teams to ensure the successful execution of painting activities.Responsibilities:Team Leadership:Lead, manage, and provide guidance to a team of painters, assigning tasks, scheduling work, and allocating resources effectively.Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and professionalism among team members.Painting Planning and Execution:Analyze project requirements, specifications, and design plans to determine appropriate painting techniques, materials, and finishes.Coordinate and oversee surface preparation, masking, and application processes.Quality Control:Ensure that painted surfaces meet quality standards and project specifications by conducting inspections, addressing defects, and performing necessary touch-ups.Color Matching and Mixing:Oversee the mixing and blending of paints to achieve desired colors and shades, ensuring accurate color matching with samples or specifications.Safety and Compliance:Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with safety guidelines during painting operations.Conduct safety briefings, hazard assessments, and promote a culture of safety within the team.Equipment and Resource Management:Manage and coordinate resources, including paint, tools, equipment, and manpower, to optimize painting operations.Ensure proper storage, maintenance, and inventory control of painting supplies.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of painting activities, including paint colors used, quantities, inspection results, and safety measures taken.Generate progress reports, safety reports, and other documentation required by project management.Communication and Collaboration:Collaborate with project managers, clients, contractors, and other trades to plan and execute painting tasks.Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and stakeholders regarding work progress, challenges, and requirements.Training and Development:Identify training needs within the team and provide training, coaching, and mentoring to enhance technical skills and safety awareness.Promote professional growth and skill development among team members.Qualifications:Relevant certification in painting or surface preparation.Proven experience (5+ years) as a Painter, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Strong leadership and organizational skills.Essential RequirementsPrevious offshore experienceExperience working on a project (commissioning/construction/hookup)Need to be comfortable working offshore for 2-3 monthsValid PassportPossess the following certifications: BOSIET/FOET, OGUK Medical, Yellow Fever card, Fully vaccinated against COVID-19Preference will be given to profiles from Africa, America and Europe.
