We are looking for a highly skilled and results-driven Paid Media Manager to lead and manage all paid media activity across our client portfolio. This role is perfect for someone who is strategic yet hands-on, with deep platform knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a creative mindset. You will oversee paid media and social teams, manage budgets across multiple clients, and work closely with strategists, creatives, and account leads to deliver high-performing, ROI-focused campaigns.
Responsibilities
Develop and lead comprehensive paid media strategies aligned to client objectives, brand goals, and performance targets
Translate marketing objectives into full-funnel paid media plans covering awareness, engagement, leads, and conversions
Identify growth opportunities across platforms, audiences, formats, and creative approaches
Guide platform selection and budget allocation to maximise impact and return on investment
Oversee the setup, management, and optimisation of paid media campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, and others
Ensure campaigns are optimised for performance, cost efficiency, and scalability
Drive ongoing testing of audiences, creative, messaging, and formats to improve results
Maintain platform best practices, compliance, and up-to-date industry knowledge
Manage and oversee paid media budgets across multiple clients and campaigns
Track spend, performance, and ROI to ensure efficient use of budgets
Ensure campaigns meet agreed KPIs and performance benchmarks
Implement month-on-month optimisation and growth strategies to improve results
Lead performance reporting across all paid media activity, analyse data, and translate results into actionable insights
Present performance updates, learnings, and optimisation plans to internal teams and clients
Manage and mentor paid media and social media team members, allocate workload, set priorities, and provide guidance and performance feedback
Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the digital team
Work closely with brand strategists, creatives, account managers, and content teams to ensure alignment between paid media, organic social, creative, and broader marketing strategies
Support client presentations, strategy sessions, and campaign planning discussions
Act as a subject-matter expert on paid media within the agency
5+ years' experience in paid media or performance marketing, preferably within an agency environment
Proven experience managing paid media strategies across multiple clients and industries
Strong track record of delivering ROI-driven campaigns focused on engagement, leads, and conversions
Hands-on experience managing significant paid media budgets
Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into strategic insight
Excellent organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills
Creative thinker with a performance-driven mindset
Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field
Platform certifications (Meta Blueprint, Google Ads, LinkedIn Marketing, etc.) highly advantageous
