Closing Date: 29/05/2025Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:xc2xb7 Perform quality checks on samples in accordance with required procedures as per sampling plans.xc2xb7 Conduct analyses of results and identify problems and improvement opportunities and communicate these to relevant stakeholders.xc2xb7 Training of packaging personnel on process control procedures.xc2xb7 Report and manage non-conforming dry goods and filled product.xc2xb7 Maintain the Quality Management System standards.xc2xb7 Maintain measuring and testing equipment (calibration, verification and maintenance).xc2xb7 Conduct audits to confirm adherence to ISO 9001 and procedures.xc2xb7 Perform administrative duties.xc2xb7 Initiate, investigate and assist in problem solving regarding packaging materials and processes.xc2xb7 Initiate Corrective and Preventative actions out of audits or non-conformances.xc2xb7 Instil a quality culture in his / her area of responsibility and influence.xc2xb7 Report non-conformances timeously and liaise between the Quality, Packaging and Materials.xc2xb7 Build and maintain effective and trusting relationships with internal customers.xc2xb7 Initiate improvements and the implementation thereof.xc2xb7 Participate in E2 implementation.xc2xb7 Ensure adherence to 5S, housekeeping and GLP's.The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:xc2xb7 A recognised and relevant Degree / Diploma in Natural Sciences or in the final stages of completing the qualification.xc2xb7 Relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment (working experience on beverage lines will be advantageous).xc2xb7 Working knowledge of Health and Safety standards, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, ISO 14001 and SANS 1841 will be advantageous.xc2xb7 Ability to work under pressure and accurately while paying attention to detail.xc2xb7 Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities are essential.xc2xb7 Must be responsible and punctual.xc2xb7 Ability to reflect good leadership behaviour towards colleagues, superior and company values.xc2xb7 Proven written and communication skills on all levels.xc2xb7 Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team.xc2xb7 Display knowledge and insight where to obtain information and interpret information relevant to own work area.xc2xb7 Ability to implement controls to ensure the achievement of quality standards.xc2xb7 Strong ability to do problem-solving, fault-finding and knowledge of various problem solving methods.xc2xb7 Creativity that enhances continuous improvement is a pre-requisite.xc2xb7 Ability to cope with the inherent physical demands of the position.xc2xb7 Computer literacy, preferably MS Office, LIMS and SAP will be considered advantageous.xc2xb7 Must be willing to work shifts and overtime if and when required.The Company's approved Employment Equity Plan and Targets will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
