About the Role



We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Out of Hours (OOH) Team Manager to lead our dedicated team of consultants at our Bree Street office in Cape Town. As the OOH Team Manager, you will oversee the team's performance, ensure exceptional service delivery, and drive results in a fast-paced environment. This role combines hands-on leadership, strategic oversight, and operational management to support our organization's objectives.



Key Responsibilities



Team Leadership:

Inspire, motivate, and lead by example to drive consultants to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver outstanding results.

Operational Management:

Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and performance standards.

Complaint Resolution:

Manage and resolve complaints efficiently, ensuring they are handled in accordance with the complaints department procedures.

HR Compliance:

Ensure adherence to HR policies, including sick leave, annual leave, and other employee-related processes.

Performance Monitoring:

Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to review performance, discuss business updates, and address concerns.

Professional Conduct:

Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions with colleagues, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Reporting:

Provide regular updates and reports to the OOH Senior Manager, ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals.




Reporting Structure



You will report directly to the Sales Manager(s) and participate in monthly performance reviews to evaluate business progress, discuss KPIs, and address any operational or team-related concerns.



What We're Looking For



Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role, preferably in an out-of-hours or customer-facing environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to motivate and manage a diverse team. Ability to handle complaints and resolve issues effectively while maintaining professionalism. Knowledge of HR processes, including leave management and compliance. Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Commitment to fostering a positive, professional, and collaborative workplace culture.
