People like you.Role ContextResponsible for the processing of all outbound material on a day-to-day basis following both ISO and Global Standard Operating Procedures.Key responsibilitiesShipment Administrationxc2xb7 Responsible to check shipments and pieces conditions as well as paperwork quality and packagingxc2xb7 Ensure that all AWBs are imaged and uploaded on the system. Check report at the end of the shift to confirm this.xc2xb7 Ensure that all shipments on the Process Dashboard are actioned (manifested and reweighed)xc2xb7 Ensure that all shipments are prepared to xe2x80x98perfect shipment standards, i.e.:- AWB & Invoice completion- Insurance or any other special services are captured on the system.- Appropriate Service alert labels are affixed.- CI checkpoint is captured for all non-stackable shipments.- Ensure any ICS.2 or UDG shipments are placed on hold, if not yet releasedOutbound Sorting and Processingxc2xb7 Responsible for the re-weighing of shipments by ensuring accurate weighing, capturing of dimensions, and labelling of pieces.xc2xb7 Ensure that a printed reweigh PID label is attached to each individual piece.xc2xb7 Responsible for updating of systems with shipment and piece information (PID) using DCVS.xc2xb7 Responsible for the sorting of all outbound material into designated areas ensuring the appropriate cut-off times are met.xc2xb7 Preparation of all international bags and seals using the appropriate DHL Systems.xc2xb7 Responsible for the bagging of all outbound material into correct destination bags and cages.xc2xb7 Responsible for the segregation of High Value, DA65 and special Certificate clearance shipments. Capturing of the appropriate ST intercept checkpoint on the bag or cage containing such shipments.xc2xb7 Assist with Debrief process when required.xc2xb7 Complete Cash recon as per DEBRIEF process.xc2xb7 Capturing of Banking when required. (This can only be done by someone who has not done the debrief)Securityxc2xb7 Responsible to security check all shipments of a suspicious nature and always following standard DHL security procedures.xc2xb7 Ensuring that all suspicious shipments, that could not be physically inspected, are alerted to JNB GTW Security for further X-ray and Customs inspection as required.Generalxc2xb7 Always follow Global Standard Operating Procedures.xc2xb7 Ensure quality is always integrated into the business.xc2xb7 Assist supervisors / managers with daily tasks as required on Ad Hoc basisMinimum RequirementsEducation & experienceMatricValid drivers license code 8/10PC LiteracyKnowledge of DHL Operations SystemsExcellent Written & Verbal Communication skills.Previous experience in the courier industry within OperationsDHL systems experience
