Our client, an established franchise optometry practice, is seeking a dedicated and Afrikaans-speaking Optometrist to join their dynamic team. This busy and reputable practice prides itself on professional care, strong patient relationships, and high clinical standards.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, the ability to multitask in a bustling environment, and a warm, engaging manner that helps build lasting patient confidence and loyalty. The role offers the opportunity to work across multiple branches, with a company vehicle provided for travel.
Working hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, with alternating Saturdays from 08:00 to 12:00. Salary is market-related and based on experience.

Description

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, prescribing appropriate treatments or referrals
• Provide expert advice on eyewear selection, lens options, and contact lenses
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and developments in optometry

Minimum Requirements

• Optometry Degree
• HPCSA Registration
• Updated CPD Points
• Passionate about providing exceptional eye care services and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Excellent communication skills to build lasting relationships with a diverse clientele
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to conduct thorough eye examinations
• Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to contribute to the growth of the practice
• Valid Driver's License
• Fluent in Afrikaans & English
