Working Hours:

Normal working hours

Monday - Friday: 8am - 5:30pm

Saturday: 8am - 1pm

1 afternoon/morning off per week.

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Optometrist to join our team at our Eye Centre, which features both optometrists and ophthalmologists. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and diagnose ocular conditions. Provide thorough consultations and recommend appropriate treatment plans. Prescribe corrective lenses and provide fitting services for glasses and contact lenses. Collaborate with ophthalmologists for patient referrals and management of complex cases. Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Stay informed about advancements in optometry and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

Must be a qualified and registered Optometrist. Experience in a clinical setting is preferred. Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in using optometric equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Additional Requirements:

Must reside within a 20km radius of Eldoraigne.
