Core Description
Responsible to develop solutions that encompass customer management, product modelling, ordering, billing as well as integration to back end and third-party network services. Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of applications developed.
Job Responsibilities
Develop solutions

• Develop BSS applications covering end to end fulfilment, assurance and billing flow
• Billing and Product Catalogue development and maintenance
• Build applications in accordance with the defined architecture and designs
• Adherence to software development guidelines, principles and best practice frameworks
• Conducting unit testing of code developed
• Programming fundamentals of JAVA and REST Architecture
• Work closely with the project delivery teams to deliver solutions that improve user experience. # Ensure workflows and rules are applied to the
• applications to deliver on business requirements

NQF 6: National Diploma/ Advanced Diploma/ Certificate in IT/Engineering

Additional Information
Special Requirements:

• Industry or development platforms certifications advantageous.
• Qualificattion in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering.
• Development experience as a developer using predominantly Java. Telecommunications experience advantageous.
• Project delivery on Java based applications.
• The ability to build applications within an enterprise environment
• Understanding of software development cycles and quality assurance processes
• Experience in designing, developing and implementing applications using Java EE platforms
