Requirements
- Basic literacy
- A valid code 14 (EC and EB) driverxe2x80x99s licence
- 2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in operating a water-based mechanical
- Ability to operate varied mechanical plant is an added
- Nature Conservation or equivalent experience is an added
- Physically fit and able-bodied
- Sound interpersonal skills
- Certificates in small plant will be an added advantage
- A skill in basic map reading and navigation is an added
- Bilingual in two of three official languages of the Eastern and
advantage
- Skipperxe2x80x99s licence is an added advantage
- Operating a water-based mechanical weed harvester and a
- Load, remove and transport material from conservation sites to
- Assisting with the collection and delivery of stores material as
- Inspection of vehicles and reporting on any faults
- Maintenance of vehicle log books
- Reporting on operations and quantities of materials transported
- Performs specific tasks associated with the operation of vehicle
recreational areas and open spaces
- Reporting adverse environmental conditions
- Interacting with stakeholders on an ad hoc basis
