Job Description

Main purpose of the job:
Operate the in-line blender process with maximum effectiveness complying to policies, procedures, and standards consistently while delivering production plan at minimum cost and maximum effectiveness.
Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric, Maths and Science
  • N3 plus national certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging and Processing operations or Dairy Manufacturing Technology Training.
  • Induction and In-house training combined with Team Leader Training is essential to operate in this position.
Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of the work operating procedure for the in-line blender, work instructions and critical control points.
  • Knowledge of and experience HACCP and GMP Principles and practices
  • Knowledge of OHS Act Principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of the process, product, packaging requirements, raw materials, quality procedures, maintenance procedures, cleaning procedures, health and safety procedures, HACCP, ISO and general manufacturing practices within our environment
Skills
  • Prepare and start up equipment, follow cleaning and CIP procedures, and shutting down equipment.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic technical skills
  • Basic mechanical skills.
  • Mathematics and numeracy, Continuous process minding.
