Qualifying Criteria:

Responsibilities:

Work a cycle or a rotation of shifts
Good operating skills and at least 1-3 years experience within a trackless mining environment
Perform pre-shift and post-shift safety inspections and complete daily checklist
Safely and efficiently operate Bomag rollers and compactors to compact various materials such as soil, gravel, and asphalt.
Prepare surfaces by compacting soil and materials to ensure they meet the required density and specifications.
Assist with and monitor preventative and breakdown maintenance during shift (fill up fuel, oil, lubrication, etc.)
Assist with services
Ensure that the machine is in good operating order and report any faults and inconsistencies to the supervisor (s) and control room
Coordinate with site supervisors, project managers, and other construction team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
Conduct all work according to required standards and specifications
Adhere to MHSA standards & Gold1s safety motto: Nothing is so important that it cannot be done safely
