PURPOSE OF THE POSITION



The objective of the role is to meet the daily operational and SHEQ targets assigned to the operator within the operational framework of the Electro silver Plant. The Operator is required to meet the daily operational targets by operating Silver Electro-Refining Circuit, Silver Leach sections, Silver Granulation and related processes.





SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO:


Operational responsibilities as prescribed by the Production Plan towards achieving the following departmental targets:


Ag Stock < 6.1 tons in silver SLOCs;



Au Stock < 200 kg in silver SLOCs;



Ag process efficiency > 99%;


Electrosilver banks conversion > 90%;

Ensure 99.90 % 99.99% Silver Granules and silver Granules Quality


oEnsuring Au <100 ppm in the granules.oResponsible for reporting of all incidents.


The incumbent is required to conduct on the job training of new employees in a section.

Planning and executing of operational targets (As prescribed by the Production Plan and Silver Orders).

Attend weekly incident recall meetings.

Attend daily toolbox meetings.


SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:



?Computer proficiency- MS Outlook, Excel and Word.



?Good communication skills.



?Problem solving skills.



?Troubleshoot by referring to procedures.



?Operate equipment and be able to complete the checklist accurately.



KNOWLEDGE:



?Knowledge in a precious metal's environment.



?Knowledge of Electro Silver processes (technical and troubleshooting).



?Understanding of Electro-Gold and Fine Gold hazard and risks.



?SHEQ knowledge - Able to conform to the various departmental.
